A better name for Hostea

Bonjour,

Hostea is a cute name (I think, at least) but systematically triggers French people to think of sacramental bread which is called Hostie and pronounced the same.

I would like to change the name for something that is more evocative of “online federated free software development environments”, something closer to the FSDL idea dear to @circlebuilder and not so focused on a specific software stack.

Since the word “forge” has a good history, is known by the Free Software community and is not used by either GitLab or GitHub, it could be used in the name. There still is SourceForge around but it is no longer trending.

Hostea could become the resurection of Gna!. I still own the domain. It does not mean anything really (Gna’s Not an Acronym!) but it is vintage and has a relevant past. And the logo still looks good.

Decision: replacing the name Hostea with Gna!

The Gna! forge has been offline for five years but the domain is still available. Hostea is very closely aligned with Gna! values and goals, it is a legitimate resurrection. Unless there is an objection within a week, the name Hostea will be replaced with Gna!
